​Care 1.
Remove all jewellery before shower. Soap causes a film to form on the jewellery, which makes it appear dull and dirty.

Care 2.
There are many commercial cleaners available that can be purchased from any superstore. The best way to clean is to soak the jewellery for as long as possible so that the trapped and build up material can loosen around the piece. Please remember to read any instructions on the commercial solutions before you attempt to clean.

Care 3.
For certain jewellery, an ultrasonic vibrating cleaner may be appropriate, but always read the instructions first. Never put different material in ultrasonic at the same time.

Care 4.
If you are having trouble removing grease, grime, paint or any other substance try using plain rubbing alcohol to soak the piece and then clean normally.

Care 5.
Never, never, clean your jewellery in bleach!!! Bleach will react to the metal, causing it to become very brittle. If you must emergency clean, use dish soap and water.

Care 6.
Polish silver or gold with a jewellery polishing cloth for best results. Use of tissue or paper towels can cause scratches because of fibers in these products.

Care 7.
An old toothbrush is probably one of the oldest cleaning tricks in the book. Make sure that you use an old, soft bristle brush, because the hard bristle can loosen gemstones from their settings.

Care 8.
You should be very careful when you clean or polish hollow or tubular jewellery as their thickness is very thin. Very slightest pressure can dent the metal very easily.

Care 9.
Many gemstones are enhanced and you should be careful putting them in any cleaning solution. Not all gemstones can handle the strong chemicals in the solutions.

Care 10.
Be careful of cleaning costume, fake or vermeil, as it's very sensitive to any cleaning solutions. Costume or vermeil jewellery is a base metal (base or silver) with a gold layer over or absorbed into it. This layer is not made for abrasive cleaning or prolonged wear.

Care 11.
Before cleaning jewellery check to see if there are any loose or damaged stone, broken, cracked or dents in the metal. Make sure to see the prongs or the tips of any stones in the item are not worn out.

Care 12.
NEVER use HOT water. Always use warm water to clean as hot water will react to cleaning solutions and will discolor your jewellery. Sterling silver is very sensitive to hot water and will discolor in a heartbeat.

Care 13.
Never clean any jewellery that is badly damaged, abrasive, cracked or broken. ​
